My creative exploration into metal was born out of a dis-satisfaction of working in the trades. I began by making small pieces of jewelry, from scrap steel and kitchen utensils during work hours. Now my craft has expanded into multiple facets of metal-work, including CNC/hand plasma cutting, MIG/TIG welding, and digital design. I bring these processes together to create a vast array of wall hangings and standing sculptures. Some of my projects are created with a vision, but the vast majority I just piece together as I go, and hope for the best. My optimal medium to work with is patinated mild steel, but i also like to incorporate different blocks of wood into my projects as well.
